About Fiona
Fiona has over 30 years experience working as a speech and language therapist and therapy manager. She has worked in a variety of acute, community and charitable settings, based in Surrey since 2001. Clinically she specialises in supporting adolescents through to adults with a range of communication difficulties, including voice disorders. She also therapeutically supports adults with acquired neurological conditions, such as stroke and dementia and progressive neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease.
She qualified as an intermediary through The Intermediary Cooperative training programme in 2024.
Fiona, whilst maintaining her professionalism, is approachable and has the ability to quickly establish a good rapport.
She is a published author of communication resource books, the development of communication e-learning resources and actively promotes the usage of low technology augmentative support methods.
