About Helen

Helen is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist and has over 14 years’ experience working with adults and children with a range of communication needs, including those with mental health difficulties, neurological conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. She is highly skilled in the assessment and management of communication difficulties, developing strategies to minimise communication breakdowns and promote successful interactions.

Throughout her career, Helen has honed her own verbal and written communication skills, allowing her to clearly and succinctly share her recommendations with others. She provides training on communication techniques as well as acting as a facilitator for those with communication difficulties. In addition, her professional but approachable nature allows her to quickly build rapport with clients, carers and professionals alike.
