About Kathryn
Kathryn has been practising as a Speech and Language Therapist since 1985. Her clinical specialism is in working with adults with communication needs as a result of an acquired neurological disorder (eg brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis etc) or learning difficulties. Her general caseload has also included voice disorder, dysfluency, dementia and co-morbid general mental health conditions. Kathryn completed the Ministry of Justice Registered Intermediary training in 2014 and has been involved in over 220 cases, assisting vulnerable adult witnesses in the criminal courts. She has been working as an Intermediary in the Family Courts since 2019, assisting adults with communication needs in line with her clinical specialisms, and with associated mental health difficulties.
