About Lucy
Lucy is a qualified teacher who has worked in primary education for 25 years. The majority of this time was spent as a senior leader who was the Special Needs Coordinator, Safeguarding Officer and Mental Health Lead. She has a vast amount of experience working with children with a range of diagnoses, children looked after and both adults and children who have challenges with communication and mental health issues.
She qualified as a HMTC’s Appointed Intermediary with The Intermediary Cooperative in 2024, to work in both the family and criminal court. She is a member of Intermediaries For Justice.
Lucy has extensive experience of assessing an individual’s needs, with a calm and professional approach, and implementing appropriate communications strategies. She is passionate in promoting and supporting equal access to all, no matter what the individual’s additional needs.
