About Nina

As a Registered Intermediary, HMCTS appointed intermediary and a qualified teacher of 17 years Nina has vast experience assessing and implementing communication strategies with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of communication needs. These include (but are not limited to) varied learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder (including Asperger’s), ADHD, processing issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, physical disabilities, down syndrome, and emotional or behavioural problems.

Nina carries out the intermediary role full time and has experience assisting effective participation in over 200 cases with vulnerable witnesses, defendants and respondents in the following jurisdictions:

  • Criminal
  • Civil
  • Family
  • Tribunals

Nina has been a member of The Intermediary Cooperative since it’s infancy in 2021, and has consistently high standards of work from planning, assessments and report writing through to facilitating communication. In addition to the intermediary role Nina also carries out additional roles for The Intermediary Cooperative, as a report auditor, mentor, tutor for trainees, is part of the recruitment team, helps organise best practice seminars and takes part in regular CPD opportunities appropriate to her roles.
