About Rachael

Rachael is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with 10+ years experience working in Liverpool’s Community Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Department with children with a range of complex communication and learning needs. She worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and differential diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as joint neurodisability assessment and intervention with children with congenital and acquired neurological impairment, learning disabilities (ranging from mild-moderate to profound and multiple), and other complex medical needs.

Having trained as a Registered Intermediary at the City Law School (London) in 2007, Rachael has extensive experience of working with both child and adult vulnerable witnesses and victims, accurately and effectively assessing and managing their barriers to communication during police video interview and throughout court proceedings. She is able to quickly establish rapport with people of all ages, and her excellent oral and written communication skills allow her to clearly and succinctly share her specialist advice and recommendations with others.
